About Dispatcher Gate
Two jobs, done properly: moving vehicles between people who need them moved, and getting help to drivers who are stuck. Virginia, Washington DC and Maryland.
Who we are
Dispatcher Gate is a dispatch operation working the Virginia, DC and Maryland corridor. On the transport side we connect shippers with vetted carriers through a loadboard, where carriers bid and the shipper chooses. On the roadside side we take the call, quote a flat fee, and send the nearest available provider.
The two work differently on purpose. Freight benefits from competition — a driver stranded on the shoulder does not. Nobody bids while you wait on the hard shoulder; you get a price and a provider.
How we work
Carriers stay independent
We do not sit between a carrier and its drivers. Carriers manage their own drivers, equipment and schedule — we bring the freight.
The price is the price
Roadside jobs are quoted as a flat fee before anyone is dispatched. Transport goes to competitive bids you can compare side by side.
Someone always has the vehicle
Every job has one accountable party and a paper trail — condition photos, documents and a status you can ask about.
